::This is one of the most scenic places in Detroit with the river, Canada skyline, Belle Isle and Ambassador Bridge and downtown Detroit all spread before you. Good to enjoy a walk, rollerblade or bike ride or ride the carousel (see schedule). In warm weather children, and others, play in the water geysers, huge sand area (buckets and spades are there) or playgound area. Lounge on the outdoor furniture and read, people watch or nap. Food is available and the bike shop is well stocked.

::Awesome safe walking path along the river with a great view across to Canada. Has a big sandy play area, a carousel, and lots of benches and chairs to enjoy the view.

::Beautiful place for lovers and families. It closes at 10pm so that sucks but other than that it's amazing. Summertime is a ball on the Riverwalk but it's also great in cooler seasons for a walk or run.

::I love this walk! Right downtown. Right on the river. So beautiful. Whether you're on lunch break or a weekend getaway, enjoy this downtown retreat!

::Detroit really did a great thing by making this walkway. Its a nice stroll along the river and you get to see the passing ships as well as see Canada across the river. You can rent bikes, stop for a bite to eat. I see people excercising all the time while walking the boardwalk. Running, biking, power walking are just a few. There is a merry go round for the kids as well as a sand pit for them to play in. Definitely worth checking out!!!
