::Staff is all over the place. There are always lines of people and one cashier. They do have a lot of staff but they choose to either restock or be out of site in the office. It is ridiculous how every time I go there there is at least 10 people waiting in line and an old lady cashier taking her time. If you don't mind that though they have a good variety of products and good discounts (especially in candy, chips, soda etc.) almost everyday.

::The store is clean and very organized which i like HOWEVER the lines for both the pharmacy and front cashiers are ALWAYS ridiculously long. They need to realize that they are located in the heart of Astoria and the traffic is at a high volume so they need to hire more staff. Chris (I believe that's her name) in the pharmacy is such a sweetheart but most of the other staff is rude and SLOW as hell. I honestly dread going in here but have no other choice since it's the closest to my apartment. Also, management could be a little nicer too. They aren't friendly whatsoever. Blahhhh Rite Aid......

::Trash pharmacy. Not only are the lines ridiculously long, the staff lies and tells you it's 'going to be a 10 minute wait' to get medications. I've been sitting here for 30 mins now, watching the line accumulate to about 12 people. So yes one star, I wish I could give it less. I give myself as a customer 2 out of 5 because I keep coming back and having the same exact experience, over and over again. I should know better, but I chalk up this flaw to believing in people, but not here, never again.

::It takes an hour or more just to get 3 items. They only staff 1, maybe 2 cashiers to work a line which often has 30 or more people in it. They're slow as molasses, inept as hell, and STILL trying to shop their rewards program and other services slowing down the process. Meanwhile, the rest of the staff is out on the floor arguing about when they get to take their breaks. Since this has been going on for, oh forever, if not longer, Rite Aid does not care to manage this, find people who will manage it, or find people who can speak english and aren't total idiots to run the place. Just go to CVS.

::It took one hour and 15 minutes for me to get my medication. When I first got there I was told to wait half an hour. In the future I will avoid chain pharmacies at all cost. You're much better off going to the local mom and pop Pharmacy where you will be treated like a person with dignity and respect. I would recommend City View Pharmacy instead.
