I have been going to this park since it opened when my daughter was younger. Now I take my 2 boys, this is one of my favorite parks. we always feel safe, the kids love the playground, splash pad and to run after soccer ball on the grass areas. It's a little hard for younger children as I don't feel the playground is geared towards them. It also is difficult to watch my older son when taking my youngest to baby swings, too far apart. There is ramadas with seating and BBQ areas which is nice.

Rio Vista is a wonderful park for the whole family. The playground and splash pad area are great for little kids. The splash pad is one of the only ones around that is gated, which is a huge help for families of small children. You can let your kids run without fear of them taking off, and there’s a fair amount of seating around the splash pad for parents/guardians to sit and relax while the kids burn off some energy. Depending on the time of day, the splash pad in particular can be pretty busy, there is very limited parking right in front, and the bathrooms can be a bit of a trek for little kids, but those are the only real downsides I can think of. Overall, it’s a great park with a ton of amenities!

We play volleyball here every weekend and it is really nice and well kept. I travel across town to come here because all the parks near where I live are no where near as nice as this park.

Impossible to use facilities if you use a wheelchair or need parking near your activity. No way found to access sidewalk w/wheelchair. Lovely for able body people. I won't return, but would love to use the park.

Absolutely love this park. Walking distance from our house and so much to do!! My son is always so excited to go. It's always filled with other kids for him to play with. There are tons of different sized playground equipment so there's something for every age. We love to visit in the summertime as well. Our kids are able to escape the heat by playing around in the splash pad. We also love that there are baseball fields. We can't wait until our son is old enough to join the sport and play on those fields. We feel so lucky to have such an amazing park nearby.
