::I've stayed here many times. This is a great hotel. The rooms are enormous, especially compared to several strip hotels. The bathroom showers/tubs could use some updating, but they are sufficiently functional. Additionally, parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces, with easy access from either end of the property, so you can have a short walk to your room. The pool area is located so that it actually gets spring and fall sun, although it seems like a shortage of lounge chairs has been an ongoing problem. The fitness center is better than most. Home to one of the most famous buffets, but there are also other very good eateries onsite. The casino has everything you need, table games, slots, poker, and a sports book. One of the best off-strip choices.

::Have stayed here twice for 5 nights each time. The rooms are huge! One room we stayed in was a little decrepit, but it was clean and comfortable. I really enjoy the location. The pool area is really nice, it gets pretty busy but no biggie. Good selection of restaurants on site. The seafood buffet is incredible for the price. It was a very slow night when we went and the kitchen staff were putting out small batches of fresh hot food, spoons and utensils in the foods were constantly being replaced with clean ones. Food was being stirred to ensure proper holding temperatures. Associates were wiping things and all appeared very clean and well maintained. And they were friendly. Great job. We will be back for our 3rd visit next month.

::I'm not sure where to start with this hotel. We stayed at Rio for a weekend as a quick get-away. We wanted to stay budget conscious so decided that Rio would be a good pick since it was towards the end of the strip and off strip so easier to get to then one of the other hotels in the middle. I feel like you get what you paid for. Upon check-in we were told our room was not ready yet it but was 5pm. Then they told us they would call when our room would be ready and we never received a call. Then when we got our room it was still dirty and in poor shape. The couch looked like it came from a college dorm and the linens had burnt holes in them. The casino also was way too smokey as the ventilation system was not great. I wouldn't recommend staying unless it was your very last option and you were on a budget.

::Wonderful staff can be found from VIP Valet (which is free), VIP Guest Services, Bar and Table Game Dealers. Free drinks while playing on slots and or table games. Nice welcoming hosts to guide you along the way. An indoor Starbucks is available right near the elevators and shops. Room was clean and very roomy. Room rates are very affordable. Free small bottled water available at the VIP Guest Services. Amazing service overall and Valet staff is very professional. Pet friendly and pool is perfect for the family. Looking forward to another future stay at the Rio!

::Nice big rooms. Easy valet parking. Great views from the roof it would be really nice if we could have brought our kids to see the roof but for some reason you have to be 21 to view the roof. One of the reasons we selected this hotel was because they had nice pools and nice hot tubs but the hot tubs were closed and no one really knew why they looked like they were full of water they were warm and ready for people to get in but for some reason they have them blocked off and they were closed I asked why and no one seem to know. It would also be really nice if the pool was open past 6 p.m. We mostly came for the gaming and the gaming did not disappoint it was fun as usual. The rooms are about twice the size of a normal hotel room and the bathroom was nice with a separate preparation area from the shower and toilet. Another main reason we stayed here at this hotel was to see the Penn and Teller show but even though we were there for a whole week that show was dark the entire week which was really disappointing.
