::Been to Ricky for over a year now. A friend of mine recommended him, her hair is always perfect, the color is beautiful and nature. Ricky is super talented, he executes brilliantly in mission impossible, cutting my hair in a way so I can shower at night, wake up and go in the morning, basically maintenance free but still stylish. He is also a really nice guy, fun and down to earth.

::Just got my first Ricky Hodge haircut and I can honestly say I will be going back. After a year or so of just buzzing my hair at home I figured it was time for a little more style to my do and Ricky Hodge salon has plenty to offer. The attention to detail is immaculate and no clippers are used, just scissors and a comb. Such a swell cut from an equally swell dude.

::Ricky Hodge Salon is my new haven. Previously living in Los Angeles and New York City, I am looking for a certain level of service, class, and innovation when it comes to finding a salon and a stylist. For Austin, this is IT.The salon is small, which allows for very personalized service. The staff is fun, friendly and most of all flexible (which I highly value because of I travel incessantly for work.) The details of the space really make for a sophisticated salon experience- from the fresh flowers, to the beverages, to the daily selection of beautifully chosen macaroons. More specifically, Ricky was able to color correct my hair in one visit from washed out to bombshell blonde.. so ladies, if you have blonde ambitions, Ricky Hodge is the "go to" blonde guy in town. I always feel like an A-lister after every visit. If you are thinking about switching salons, go for it.

::This place is a joke. The haircuts are way over priced. $60 for a men's haircut??!?! The place is ran with no class or professionalism. Ricky himself is rude, obnoxious and pushy. The salon is dirty and covered in dust and it's in the ghetto. Avoid!!
