  I invited my friends from out of town to celebrate my 25th birthday. Rich’s - my favorite hot spot - was a no brainer...Upon arrival, the bouncers claimed a few of my friends were “too intoxicated” to enter. Their claim was based off of them crossing the street “stumbling”.. My friends disclosed they were in uncomfortably high heels and the bouncer responded, “I can walk in those heels...”. Shortly after, another friend was told to back off after addressing the security guard and was asked to “back the f*** off or I will punch you in the face”..needless to say they were disrespectful and unfair... unfortunate circumstance for all.

  PRECOOL -15 BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. WE DIDNT BUT THEY WERE PERSISTENT TO CHECK ON IT. WANTED US IN THE DOOR. FAST LOADING AND OUT. OFFICE LADY WAS SNIPPY FOR NOT BEING PRECOOLED. PUT THEM BACK ON TIME.. GREAT PLACE.. VERY FRIENDLY..OUTSIDE OUR FAULTS..

  A legendary Houston institution, the only dance club of its kind in Houston! The busiest night to go is definitely on a Saturday, which is the day of the week I would recommend going if you’ve never been before. On the first level Rich’s features two massive bars flanking the dance floor downstairs and a patio featuring its own bar. The second level features many tables available to be reserved and two more bars to quench your thirst. Ignore all the haters, you’ll have an amazing night @ Rich’s!

  Only had trouble here. I’ve grown up at gay bars and this place is the worst. Everyone has a bad attitude. I’ve even had someone spill beer down my back then act like I intruded on their fun happen at this bar. Was having fun, sitting in the corner with my friends. I’ve grown up in gay bars thanks to my brother and I’ve never felt more uncomfortable . The DJ and some random guy with a bucket just randomly came up to me and threatened me about “taking away my drink” at 2 am(that was a bottle of water I purchased st the bar). The bar back actually grabbed my water bottle away from me while it was in my mouth. All the while there were plently of men with alcoholic drinks. I paid for my water and they physically took it from my hand in an awkward, childish way while breaking the law in front of me. Over this bar.
