::I read some of the reviews from unhappy customers. This is a no muss no fuss type restaurant. If you need to be pampered like a little child maybe you should get a better grip on reality. They are fast to take your order and fast at delivering it. The best part: THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC. My next visit to the area im sure to visit again.

::It was okay. First, read the menu, as the server will not make you aware of the menu-it does state they DO NOT split the bill and will not do substitutions, period. This made it difficult for me since I can't eat certain things — would NOT recommend for anyone avoiding gluten. The parking lot is small ~10 spots or so. The restaurant is not big inside either. I would suggest going right when they open or towards closing, when it's not busy, the servers seem to be nicer and more attentive then, e.i. filling up drinks, answering questions, etc. They have a limited menu, but a lot of vegan friendly options. The banana pancakes did look really good. The restrooms were kinda dirty and smelled like a urinal (minus the urinal) as they are both used for male and female. Menu prices are between $10.50 to $13 per person.

::A couple of things about Ria's. 1. Go early. They open at 8 and not a minute earlier. You could be bleeding to death and they will not open the door before 8:02. There will be a wait if you go after 8:30-9am. 2. The food is outstanding. I did recently order my usual of caramelized banana pancakes and the cook did not melt the sugar. It was like eating a plate of sweet sand. I would have sent it back, but I had already waited an hour to eat. 3. Service. The pancakes are normally so good at Ria's, you ignore the service. This restaurant consistently has the worst service in Atlanta. The staff acts like they couldn't care less if you ate there and prepare to have your order taken, food put on the table, and then never again see the server until they drop off the check. It's not bad service because of high turnover or bad tipping. It's bad service because of general, holier-than-thou tattooed hipster annoyance. If you can ignore the attitude, the food is worth it.

::We came in on a Sunday for early breakfast/brunch since it was near the Georgia Aquarium. We got seated relatively quickly, but we were seated outside in some patio area that was covered with plastic/tarp. Anyway, when we ordered, my friend ordered the banana pancakes. My husband ordered a special - the strawberry shortcake short stack of pancakes (it came with whipped cream). Friend noticed that his came with whipped cream, so she kindly asked if she could have whipped cream on hers. Even while she was willing to pay, the waiter told her "No." Apparently they have some rule for no modifications whatsoever. That right there is already kind of ridiculous. It's literally a whipped topping. It's not like we're asking you to change the recipe. The food was decent. Also, if you go with a group BE WARNED - they WILL NOT split the check for you. We were slapped with a bill without having been told that we couldn't split in the first place. The bill literally just had "ORDER 1....... $7.75, ORDER 2..... $3.00, etc." It doesn't say the actual name of the food or ANYTHING. I asked the waitress to tell me which order was which, and she said "I honestly have no idea." So you mean to tell me that your machine just spits out random numbers? My entire group had to do the math and calculate our own orders (basically do the employees' jobs for them -_-). This was honestly a bit ridiculous. I understand that up north, its more common to *not* split, but this is the south y'all. If you're gonna do something out of the norm, at least warn the group that you don't split. These stupid waiters don't honestly think friends will just pay for the whole group right? Horrible experience. The employees didn't even act like they cared or had the time of day for you.

::This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Atlanta. I have been going there since it opened. I can't believe I'm only writing a review now. As a vegan there are plenty of choices for me to enjoy. The many doesn't change often but the specials are always fabulous. It's eclectic and Whimsical. I love the staff. I miss dear sweet Rhea. I'm so glad the restaurant was able to endure even though she's gone.
