::Please pay no attention to those very few oozing-with-snobbery reviews, like the super condescending-to-Long-Beach one from Lauren C - who makes a visit to LB from her place in the OC, sound like a really icky imposition for her. This is a beautiful store, with great finds. If you're persistent and if you stay in touch, you will often find just what you want. Now let me correct some of the misinformation that our oh-so-uncomfortable-with-Long-Beach-"trolls" (that's what she called us) friend has shared: There is NO "scammy-scam-scam," as she called it. (Sorry, her SNIDE-ness just really annoys me!) The original price of RH product is the same at any RH, and that is what they list here on the ticket first. The second price on the tag, which is the outlet price and is discounted from the original price, does NOT include - despite what she said - any store-wide 30% or 40% (yes, they do have them) sale discount. So it's additional 30 or 40% off the already discounted price, when such a sale running at the time. Maybe she was just too disgusted visiting Long Beach to properly focus on how that actually works. Most everything there is often in great condition. Some things are actually new and sent there to clear overstock - like some Barrel-back Dining Chairs we recently purchased.... Other things require a little spiffing up, or even a minor repair of something specific, and those usually have an accordingly lower ticketed price. They do not sell items that are broken & can't be used properly. As for "having to hire a Uhaul" or "bribe a friend," SIGH to LC's drama on that. They offer referral to several choices of 3rd party delivery, who agree to be on hand for the RH clientele. You can also use those smartphone app-based transport services. (By the way, this also puts a poo-poo on "Dawn's" review - largely based claiming she used RH's "own delivery staff," which isn't possible.) The furniture does get wrapped in plastic to protect it, as soon as you purchase it, ready to be picked up. Finding parking should not take 15 minutes like she complained, unless you're unusually dramatic at parking. The Pike parking structure is pretty easy, and RH validates for it. The service from the staff here is exceptional. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. While there's more energy and activity going on in an RH Outlet Gallery than in their Design Gallery locations, this one is really beautifully staged and gives off a stylish, sophisticated feel throughout. It's just a great experience visiting there. LC said maybe this place isn't her type of venue. (Ya think?) But if you don't have those kind of hang-ups, and love great design & beautiful product at a significant savings - and even better, if you know or at least learn the thrill of the hunt in finding pieces you'll love - you'll love doing it at RH in Long Beach.

::Their customer service is very bad. I purchased a couch and used their delivery people. I measured and it should have fit up the stairs. The two delivery men were very late and couldn't get it up the stairs and it was too dark to figure out any other way to get it upstairs. Also the underside of the couch looked like someone or animal had tore it all up. Warning - check underneath the furniture. So they brought it back. I had to pay delivery in both directions with CASH. They had to go back to the store anyways but I had to still pay to take it back. John in customer service said I could get store credit for only the couch but I definitely did not want to go though this whole ordeal again with this company and wanted my money back. He said no way they did not do refunds ONLY store credit. Amazon and most customer friendly companies pays for delivery and does refunds. This company does NOT. John said that was their policy and my policy is to try to get my money back and to complain what a lousy customer service they have. They still have the couch and almost $3000 of my hard earned money. Hopefully this review will help others.

::I've gone to this store several times. Stock changes regularly so coming often is important. Great value especially when they have days where an additional 40% reduction on already reduced prices occurs. Carefully look at furniture because there may be blemishes or missing parts.

::Great prices on quality furniture. Limited selection though, and most pieces have minor issues. Definitely buyer beware at this outlet as all sales are final. Great discounts, but be sure to thoroughly inspect the furniture before purchasing.
