  The check-in was easy. The room was clean & had everything working. The neighborhood was not bad at all. We walked to a restaurant on NE Broadway St a few blocks away. The parking cost $22 day. Alternately you can park on the street if you don't mind a little extra distance between you & your vehicle. The breakfast was good. The buffet room will get cramped if you go in the peak hour, so try to go early.

  Rooms were clean, but communication with hotel wasn't great. We asked for a crib and they didn't communicate to us that there was none available. Rooms keys mostly didn't work well. Would have liked a list of available items in the kitchen. The actual 2 bedroom suite setup wasn't ideal to have with little kids, the upstairs king bed was a loft type room so having kids standing on the bed and easily looking over the rail was a bit scary. They did respond well to our request to get a fan in a room, the upper bedroom had no air circulation so it got warm and stuff up in that bedroom since there is no ac unit also upstairs or ceiling fans.

  Hotel is located a little outside of downtown Portland, in a calm surrounding. By car the center is in 5min reach. The rooms are spaceious and well equipped with a full-scale kitchen, a fireplace and a bathroom. Breakfast is good and starts at 6am. The service at reception was friendly, but a little overwhelmed with anything outside the standard routines.

  Yes the hotel was overbooked again, the reservation changed from 2 queen beds to one queen bed without notice they had some large school group visiting so they didn’t care about other customers. Stayed at many residence inn Marriott hotels across the country for work this is the worst ever experience and would never come back to this hotel.

  This place was awesome, they fact that it was like a mini apartment made it much more enjoyably on our week and a half long stay. There was free breakfast and a pool. They also have little magnets that you put on your door to let the housekeeper know if: you have a pet inside, you don't want housekeeping today, or if you just want them to come back later. It makes it really easy to coordinate your day. There is also a little downtown area a few blocks away. It had a Safeway for grocery shopping, some restaurants, and a frozen yogurt place for dessert. It was only a 10 minute drive to downtown Portland so it was perfect for us.
