This guy is a Muppet in my opinion, never responded to any emails on the important issues that we care about. Either you donate to his campaign or he blows you off. If he represents his district, he should have an open door policy, not some Bimbostein taking messages on a daily basis. He doesn't give a wooden nickel, he don't care if you or anyone protested in front of his office. He is a true Frank Underwood in my opinion.

I'm suggesting to our Congressman that we be allowed to volunteer as parents and concerned citizens to stand guard at our local schools. A person could sign up for 2 hour shifts in full tactical gear and armed to patrol outside of the school on the curb, not in the school but out on the curb. There should be no less than 4 people patrolling at a time. I believe that there would be hundreds of people like me that are sick and tired of these school shootings and other crimes happening at our schools that would volunteer to work with the police departments to help protect our schools. I don't have school aged kids, except for my grand kids, but I would be one to find time to guard our local schools. But as long as schools are gun free zones, this is the perfect place for cowards looking for victims to find them by the hundreds. This needs to change ASAP!!! The Sheriff's Department can train the volunteers to work with local law enforcement and school officials. I believe that the chances of this ever happening again would be very minimal at best. Our government spends trillions of dollars every year over seas to countries that hate us but our kids are not safe at schools. How about if we start investing in our country and the future of our country which is our kids. Francisco Cobo

I have written to him several times about important issues. All I receive is a reply stating that my message was received and nothing else. Most likely only computer generated.

U.S. Representative Ed Royce serves California's 39th Congressional District, which spans over 3 counties. Meeting him was a pleasure and hearing him speak was nothing short of inspirational. Safeguarding his district by actively addressing: *national debt *protecting our homeland *eliminating pork-barrel spending *fighting crime and supporting its victims *strengthening education for all students *spurring job creation *fortifying Social Security and Medicare To give comfort and reassurance for victims Ed Royce was active in passing AMBER Alert legislation---to enhance rights for victims of crime. For the 114th Congress, Royce was selected to be Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and he has held that position since January 2013. Royce is a paradigm when it comes to Foreign affairs and his concern for matters threatening his constituency.
