::If I can give no stars I would! This business is horrible, I mean horrible. I rented a sectional from them that was over $3000 dollars I've been paying for my furniture all this time and have less than a month, under $500 hundred to pay off and I literally missed last weeks payment somehow( I pay every Wednesday and I'm due Saturday) but with my pregnancy coming to and end (35 weeks pregnant) I must have forgotten A payment! Which I can kick myself in the butt for because now I have them knocking on my door. Entering my building with out saying who they are ( like they are bounty hunters looking for a criminal) I inform him that I must have just forgotten a payment he tells me it's more I'm standing at my door in boxers and shirt and he tell me he can't leave because he has to talk to his manager. He calls the store and a young lady answer in which she tells him that the manager is in the bathroom and puts the guy on hold. I'm still standing there like "damn you would think that they would treat their long term customers a lil better than that" "what if I was in the hospital and unable to pay at the moment" anyways the young lady gets back on the phone and says she has to pay now or we are taking the sectional. NOW TO THE HELL WITH THAT I TOLD HER ILL PAY IN THE MORNING OR ON Wednesday LIKE IVE ALWAYS PAID AND IF IM CHARGED LATE FEES ILL PAY THAT BUT NOTHING IS BEING REMOVED OUT MY HOME WHEN IVE PAID MORE THAN HALF FOR MY FURNITURE. I GET PAID ON TUESDAYS AT MIDNIGHT AND WHEN I GET PAID THEY WILL GET PAID!! I HONESTLY WAS THINKING THAT WHEN IM DONE WITH THIS CONTRACT I WOULD PROBABLY RENT SOMETHING ELSE. IVE RENTED BEFORE BACK HOME AND NEVER HAD AN ISSUE THEY OVER CHARGE BUT IVE NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE. TOMORROW ILL BE SHOWING UP BRIGHT AND EARLY TO LOOK AT THESE BULLIES ESPECIALLY THIS VERY VERY RUDE WOMEN IN THE FACE. I CAN IMAGINE WHAT THEY DO TO OTHERS THAT DONT SPEAK UP FOR THEMSELVES. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!!

::ugh, omg, I used them when I was in college. I hated them. They threatened to throw me in jail if I didn't return their furniture back i was so scared. Everyone I know had nothing good to say about them (even the people who have never used them know not use them). I felt ashamed that I was a customer of theirs, the feeling was like how you feel when you know you've hit rock bottom and have no where to turn. Rent A Center should not be in business. Horrible employees, with horrible management and no personality skills. I even spoke to one of there employees over the phone who told me they agreed that Rent A Center is a horrible company, but he couldn't say much because his manager was next to him. They make you sign waivers so that they can legally steal money from you by over pricing their furniture. I found the same furniture at Bobs for $750. They were charging me over $3000. They scammed me, I cant believe I didn't research other options before choosing rent a center. Never again!!!

::Horrible - I have to begin by saying that I am not the type of person who usually goes on the internet to write a review. So doing this is taking time out of my day. But I want everyone to know what Rent A Center does to there customers. But I have had a terrible experience with Rent A Center. I cannot believe how a company can treat their customers so horribly. I felt like a criminal every time I was on the phone with them. They called me countless times, sometimes up to three times in a row. They would harass my references, and show up at my job looking for me. They would Show up to my house, and ask my neighbors if they have seen me. They called my mother on a Saturday at 8am twice. This company is to be avoided by all means. I would recommend never using Rent A Center as an option. It is a poor judgement by doing so. I have never seen something like this before (No exaggeration). I called corporate hoping to speak to someone with compassion and common sense, they said they would have the district manager call me. So I spoke with the district manager who called me from the store (I'm sure everyone in the store heard me on speaker), and to my surprise he was equally as ignorant as everyone in that store. I gave them back all there stuff that day, and they still tried to sell me a bed frame for $150. I cannot believe there are businesses that make a luxury out of harassing their customers and treating them like absolute scum.
