::It's the best sporting goods chain store around. They carry a lot of top quality brands, staff are friendly and knowledgeable in all types of sports, and they have good discounts from time to time. They have a good selection of bikes too and you can request for a test ride!

::Frank at the snow sports section is incredibly helpful. This man is full of knowledge; he's been skiing and snowboarding for 20+ years! It's invaluable to have someone like Frank to share advice and experience especially in snow sports where there are so many gear variables that determine the hillside experience. I actually went in to pick up a board that was on sale and intended to go to a smaller snowboard shop for my boots and bindings and I am so glad I got to talk to Frank. He spent 2 hours with me picking his brain and his answers reveal a lot of enthusiasm for the sport, patience for a newbie like me, and delivered solutions to problems I had with past gears. I walked away with new boots and bindings! I wish more big box stores would have more employees like Frank who can intelligently discuss specs of a product. I also like that REI encourages a personable experience. I didn't feel rushed or pushed to buy a product. Way to go guys!

::REI has everything you’ll need to brave the great outdoors, and then some! I came in here because I was recommended to their travel section. Their 3-1-1 bags are decently priced and great quality, as are the Eagle Creek compression cubes I bought from here. They have a great selection of items as well as apparel so if you’re big into Patagonia and the like, you’ll find them all here. You can also join their rewards program for $20 annually, but I’m not THAT into the outdoors so I can’t see it worth my money.

::Went to this REI for a heat molding of my snowboard boot liner and did not know that they would need the boots also. Joe was there and pulled the same boots I had out and used them to help me heat mold. Guy was great, multi tasking and helping out multiple customers all while keeping me entertained. Gave me a great deal and made me want to write this review. 5/5 Would recommend. Joe is awesome.
