  Great Jamaican food. I purchased the jerk chicken with rice and peas, potato salad, ginger beer, and plantains. I highly recommend that you get what I had! Service was very nice. I enjoyed the environment. This is a must eat!!!

  This is my first time here it was nice the employees were friendly. I had Curry chicken and plantains. The food had a good taste to it no complaints I will be back. I dined in had reggae music playing in the background it was relaxing. They have shops surrounding the eatery so you can get hair, nails done and do a little shopping all in one. Parking is in the back if you don't see any front parking I learned.

  I had visited the Breakfast Club and enjoyed the experience. While there I saw an advertisement for The Reggae Hut which shares the same owner. Thus, I decided to take my wife there for dinner. When we arrived the staff was sitting down on their cell phones and did not greet us. So, we helped ourselves to the menu. I ordered the curry goat with veggies and rice and a ginger beer. My wife had the BBQ shrimp veggies and rice with a lemonade drink. I had never had ginger beer "that sweet" before. I had to cut it with water in fear of going into a diabetic coma. When the food arrived my wife and I noticed it did not seem as if it was fresh. Maybe it had been prepared earlier in the day and microwaved before serving it to us. If that were the case I could understand because, as I discovered later, this was off peak hours. However, you must tidy the dish up a bit to give the illusion that this meal was freshly prepared. There was no illusion here... The meal had great potential but missed the mark for us as we were very disappointed. Maybe we'll try them again for lunch in hopes of a better experience.

  Good fresh food. Expect SPICY! Moderate prices. Mixed service. While a run down looking place may be authentic, it does nothing good for the dining experience.

  I loved this place when I lived in Houston in from 2000 to 2004. It was a pleasant surprise to see it is still open and serving amazing food! The Coco bread and red pea soup were my favorite. Some good things never change. You must stop by for a taste of island cuisine!
