  The room I stayed in had some minor damages to it, I was worried because this place takes a $50 deposit for each night you stay, but a week later I got my $100 back. The room was still $70 a night, though, and it needed repairs and paint. I just don't understand why a hotel like this would require a deposit, I've never paid a deposit at a hotel before this one, and I hate to say it but they were all much nicer hotels than this red roof inn. Still, it was a quiet stay, and I was glad for the fridge, microwave and TV in the room.

  Walk into this weird back side door were the vending machines are at and 1st thing you notice is the two machines. Buy food from here if you dare, but they do not restock it, so expect expired snacks. Talk to the person behind the bullet proof covid wall that is just an uninviting way to ask for a hotel room. Finally you get your room card and travel up 3 flights of stairs with your luggage alone. Then finally you get to enjoy a nice room.

  Easy check-in for CLC reservations. Soft beds. Clean rooms. High-flow shower heads with movable wand and fold-down bench in all bathrooms. Powerful AC/Heaters. Well stocked vending machines.

  Overall 3.5/5 (stayed here for Howard university’s homecoming) Good 👍- The rooms were clean and fresh. (NO BED BUGS OR INSECTS) Fresh bed sheets and useful microwave +fridge. It’s quiet at night and peaceful. * the hotel is right when you come off the exit following convenient stores and a plaza with restaurants and other conveniences. Bad 👎- I had to pay an extra $50 deposit upon arrival if the room smelled like smoke or had any other damages which I wasn’t aware of…The lady at the front said it was stated on the website but hadn’t been mentioned on the site when I booked it after reviewing the policies and etc. & I could only be refunded $50 back 3-5 business days after I check out… so stressful after a nearly 4 hour drive here. * The bathroom door was half busted at the bottom leaving a creaking noise and hard time to open and close. * the shower could’ve been a bit more clean as well as the towels. (be aware the bathroom is small) *Also, no free breakfast even after it was stated so online 😕 but there’s good food around the area.

  Well where do I start because I have lived here for a very long time for work everyone here has been so accommodating some more than others. Rooms: the rooms are always cleaned thoroughly and if you need anything extra they will do for you without hesitation. Grounds: the grounds/property are always clean, no trash everyone, flowers and landscaping is definitely a beautiful feature. Front desk staff: I must say the staff is exceptional pleasant and kind. As I see their everyday face to face interaction with people shows kindness. The only exception is that this is a pet friendly environment with no extra cost to have here and that is AWESOME! But Red Roof Inn does not a waste bag area. They offer no pet poop bags for guest but they still get an excellent rating in my opinion.😊
