::This place is a hidden gem! A classic style diner with good variety and excellent service, it feels very homey. This place is perfect for a low-key brunch. I highly recommend the Egg BLT and the iced chai latte.

::I truly wanted to love this greasy spoon more than I did. On the plus side, service was great and the food was full of fresh stuff. Solid. But the place really lived up to the greasy spoon analogy. The whole place just was sticky… even the Cholula bottle. The table. The counter. I’m guessing the floor, too. Fussy? Perhaps, but it really took the charm away from the family owned vibe of the place. Needs a good scrub and freshening up to rise to the quality of the food and service.

::Good home cooking in traditional Texas cafe setting. Just north of the UT Austin campus.

::We’ve ordered from here a couple of times. First time the food wasn’t terrible, but it definitely didn’t have a lot of flavor and wasn’t what we were hoping for. We decided to give it another chance and tried for a second time and we received the wrong order. We had to reorder our meal, which was fine but both the food we didn’t order that we tried (some of it we couldn’t eat or try at all bc of our dietary restrictions) and the food we actually wanted were BLAND. No seasonings at all, no salt at all, no sauce or anything to give any of the food flavor. Not even the option for any of those things. Just nothing. Bleh. Our dogs enjoyed having a treat from the food we couldn’t eat though… Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be eating from here again.

::Super good! Place has apparently been here for years, but I've never ever seen or heard about it! Definitely a hidden gem. I had an egg white omelette with a blueberry multigrain pancake. My friends had the French toast and a Denver Omelet. All great! Staff was friendly. Prices reasonable. Will definitely be coming back my next trip to Austin!
