::My family always loves going here. The food is good and affordable...great uptown eatery! They also validate parking in the wells Fargo building!

::Good place. Good pricing. Good value. Bento diner is a lot bigger than I expected. Tastes good too

::The food was too salty to be considered a Hibachi Grill. The chef did the basics far as cooking tricks. It was only a few of us having lunch at the grill, we still deserve the same treatment as a full house. My son liked his Hibachi rice. My shrimp were ok, the steak was a little tough even though it was prepared medium rare. I was expecting more from a business that is located in busy downtown Charlotte.

::Extremely unprofessional. Poor customer service. I tried to call in a carry out order for my husband and I. The employee who answered the phone told me it would be 35 minutes before it was ready for pickup. I assured her that was fine. She said okay, hold on just a minute. I was on hold for 10 minutes before she decided to get back to me. I proceeded with my order and after I named an item she said we cannot take your carry out order. She said they “had an issue come up.” I am not sure what took 10 minutes to finally let me know that they would not take my order. Their website clearly indicates that they accept carry out orders. Normally I would have hung up the phone after being ignored for a couple of minutes, but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because it was a weekend evening. This was going to be our first taste of Red Ginger. First impressions mean a lot, and Red Ginger failed to impress me. So we took our business to a food truck that was far more professional and customer friendly than a supposedly upscale Japanese Steakhouse. I should’ve known from all the typos on the website that this restaurant was far from professional. I suggest only calling in a carry out order at Red Ginger if you have lots of time to waste on hold to then just be told they cannot take your order.
