::Great "boutique" bakery with focus on gluten free and organics. Breakfast and lunch served and excellent though limited take out foods. Service oriented!

::Perfect Mother’s Day breakfast at Red Barn Bakery, Irvington. It has become my favorite morning locale, after discovering it quite by accident having come to Irvington for other reasons. Whether it is excellent specialty coffee you crave, or breads that are healthy, hearty and creative, delectables that are sweet, savories that fill you just enough, it is a delightful and warm atmosphere, with food that is made to perfection. My biggest problem with Red Barn is that I am not creative enough myself to vary from the wonderful things I have discovered- from avocado toast on their homemade bread, to their local farm fresh kale and tomato omelette, to their homemade fig jam on their brioches - I always know that there is more to explore (including the gourmet macaroni and cheese that is simply too tempting ), but it is very hard to vary when you’re in love with what you’ve found already. There is room to sit and linger over a true meal, or it is the perfect spot to grab a picnic and head to the waterfront park. And if I’m being truly honest - I’m loving the fact that they actually have a w.c. For my family our special treat is parking along the aqueduct in Dobbs Ferry, and slowly walking to this wonderful bakery that you will find at the bottom of the hill of Main Street (and to the left ) in Irvington. Randell’s creations are eye catching and delicious- the atmosphere is soothing with hints of ivy against the stone. I hope you enjoy one of my favorite spots.

::Cosy with quality. The bakery serves a pod selections of cakes abs pastries, mostly baked from quality ingredients including organic and gluten-free. They also have good coffee and some very cosy tables and chairs, good to spend some times for a cup of coffee with a tasty gluten-free cupcake.

::Got a couple of gluten free goodies from here. The carrot cup cake was good and so were the gluten free bagels. The cheese cake was also very good. What really earned the 5 stars though was the ginger pear raspberry. It's out of this world, I mean epic. I thought it was a little expensive but this thing was a piece of art and totally worth it. You're also paying a little extra for good ingredients which I appreciate. Thank you!
