  Beautiful historic old mansion converted to a hotel. It's in the perfect location on Esplanade just a few blocks from the nightlife on Frenchmen Street. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

  Rathbone Mansion has a great name but that’s really about it. Rooms are super small, tile in the restroom was coming up and looks like a rough side of town. Breakfast is toast and yogurt. Rates were moderate for being a event weekend. I should have spent $100 extra for the La Quinta but their instagram kinda tricked me. Reason for the 2 stars is the location wasn’t bad. 15 minute walk to French Market.

  The room was very clean and larger then I expected. The hotel was in a perfect location, very close to Bourbon, and Royale street. Breakfast was included and all day they had snacks in the common area for guests. The pool was at the other hotel location across the street, but it's a super short walk and the water is clean and the pool area is nice! If I visit New Orleans again I will book at this hotel!

  Rathbone Mansions was an excellent choice for an overnight stay in New Orleans. The location itself is convenient and close to the French Quarter; one need only park and then walk wherever they wish. The rooms were also clean and my particular room was recently renovated with new paint. The bed was also soft and had a foam mattress. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, as well. Overall, I would recommend Rathbone Mansions as a place to stay in New Orleans.
