::Quite possibly the only place in NYC where you don't feel like you're in NYC. By far the best secluded spot away from the city, right in the middle of it.

::I will long remember my visit to The Ramble for its amazing wildlife. We spotted five sun-baking turtles, squirrels and at least five different bird species. It is amazing that such diversity can exist in such a large city!

::Great park in general, making New York a better place. This green lung of the city is full of plants and parks, and also big natural places to practise sports. It is magic to be in a park in the middle of the city, where you can have great views of the buildings, and sometimes you will forget that you are in a city, due to it's big extension. Simply amazing.

::The Ramble is not as picture-perfect as some other areas of the park, but it's beauty comes from the natural feel of walking through thick woods. When you are in the middle of The Ramble it makes you forget that you are in the city. The sounds of the hustle and bustle fade away and you are soaked in the sounds and smells of nature. There are some good views of the lake from parts of The Ramble and you will often see raccoons and squirrels.

::best place in NYC to get lost for a couple minutes or a couple hours to enjoy the peace and serenity of nature. museums on either side and the luxurious Loeb Boathouse nearby to the south it is easy to make this a whole day event 👌
