::I booked The Letitia Mae Suite which is the only room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard where I had my coffee before breakfast on a sunny 48° January morning. The haint blue on the balcony porch ceiling and Southern Magnolia tree made my short overnight trip feel more like a vacation. The queen-sized bed was extremely comfortable (not something that I've commented upon in other B&B reviews) and the room had a cute *working* electric logs and flame fireplace, which gives the room great ambiance while feeling safe. The bathroom was quite large and included a claw-foot tub and walk-in shower. I stay in historic homes for the ambiance and you can't beat the old hardwood floors and small touches that Linda made around the room and throughout the inn. She even keeps a collection of books written by authors who have stayed at Rachael's Dowry! The breakfast was delicious and included an old family recipe. It's an easy walk to/from Westminster Hall and Burying Ground where the author Edgar Allan Poe is buried. The location is quiet, has convenient parking, and is located in a great (and safe for solo female travelers) area. I felt comfortable walking at night. I cannot imagine staying elsewhere in Baltimore after staying here. I plan to return.

::Beautiful B&B with delicious breakfast. Afternoon cookies and tea are such a nice touch as well. The bed was extremely comfortable! The room had a lovely soaking tub with bubble bath provided. Close proximity to all the action as well. The innkeeper Linda really makes your stay warm and memorable. We will certainly be staying here When we visit Baltimore again.

::We just loved our stay! Sadly we only had enough time for 1 night. But we would have loved to stay longer! Linda was so great & sweet! She taught us so much about the history in the area & she always had a smile on her face! The breakfast that she made for us was delicious & she was so willing to adjust the time for breakfast for us! Furthermore, the b&b was absolutely beautiful. The vintage decorations were breathtaking & knowing where everything came from made it that much more special. The rooms were so so cozy & clean! It was the best! Our next trip is definitely going to be at Rachel’s Dowry!!

::This past weekend was our third time staying at Rachael's. This is our favorite B&B in Baltimore or anywhere. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. The breakfast is delicious. The common areas are comfortable. We love hearing the history of the house. Linda, the owner, is delightful and takes great care of us. This past weekend we brought friends with us who had never stayed at Rachael's, and they had only positive things to say. This is a special, lovely place.

::My girlfriend and I recently had a fantastic stay in the Ella Virginia Suite at Rachael's Dowry Bed and Breakfast. Linda is a wonderful host and made it a point to tell us all about the inn's long and storied history--which was fascinating to hear if you are interested in that sort of thing. The room itself was very clean and super cozy and the breakfast every morning was amazing! It felt very private even though there were multiple other guests staying at the same time. Having on-site parking included is a nice convenience touch, and the inn is located in a great spot in Baltimore. It is just a short walk/drive to the inner harbor, with plenty of spots for entertainment, food and drinks. If you are looking for a unique stay in downtown Baltimore, I highly recommend you check out Rachael's Dowry!
