  Mitch Taylor, who does business as R & M, was the worst individual I have ever done business with. He was hired to put in a paver patio in 2008. The job was completed but he did not address the drainage issues we brought up. When the patio wall was spewing water and created a pool in the middle of the patio (because he decided to dig up half of the pavers and refused to put them back in place), this con artist tried to get another $3000.00 to fix the problem that he created. The local consumer affairs department looked into the complaint I filed against R & M and brought in an engineer to inspect the job. The engineer then wrote an extensive report which found a number of problems with the work performed. Mitch Taylor then decided to argue for several more months while my backyard and patio looked like a disaster film. When consumer affairs finally got him to my house to fix the issues, he became so belligerent that I had to chase him off my property (which was his goal). The agency finally got him to finish the job. Needless to say it was a great relief to get the job finally completed after TWO YEARS and I still don’t trust the quality of the work (he didn’t even use the correct paver sand). I can back up all of the assertions with the engineer’s report and numerous pictures. I found out later that this guy has been sued and lost in court. The end result – you take your chances if you hire this guy because he brags that he doesn’t fear court and he obviously doesn’t fear county agencies. The guy even lied on my rating on another site by saying that consumer affairs found he did nothing wrong. The engineer brought in to review his work thought differently. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!
