  Bought a car jumpstarter to revive a friend's car. Battery in the unit was bust and even after charging it for 60+ hours it would drop the charge completely 20 mins after unplugging it. Basically it had been sitting on the shelf way too long. Took it back to the store for a refund since I had no use for it after returning the car. The guy suggested a replacement and would then only return the purchase value but refused to refund the tax. Clearly not the kind of store anyone should be doing business with :(

  Best hardware store in the neighborhood, hands down. They have everything you need and then some, including a decent selection of basic lumber which no one else in the area seems to have. I was in the store earlier tonight when my girlfriend called and asked me to pick up a pie pan from key food. The extra trip wasn't necessary - R&A sells Pyrex pie pans! On top of all that, the staff is helpful, friendly, eager to help, and family owned/operated for many years.
