::Overall terrible customer service. I have never written a complaint about any business but this one warrants it. The people at the front desk were nice enough. I can't say the same about the owner. When I checked in I was emphatic that we are sensitive to cigarette smoke and was told I'd be in a no- smoking section. The 1st night was great. When I woke up out of a dead sleep at 2 in the morning the second night to the smell of cigarette smoke blasting out of the A.C, my wife and I could not go back to sleep. By the way I'm a heavy sleeper. So they did find another room for us but instead of a single nice King that we booked, it was 2 small beds in bad condition. Getting very little sleep really put a damper on our last day in NY so I asked for a refund for that one night. They said they couldn't do it and without offering anything to make it right, blamed it on the fact that there was a concert in town. I get that people smoke. That's fine. But don't expect to get a smoke free room here, even if you book one.

::Location is great! It was extremely easy to get to and from New York. The people were polite but ultimately failed to provide anything we requested, we asked for towels and never received them during our two night stay. Also maintenance needs some improvement, the handle on the toilet in our bathroom was broken and they never attempted to fix it or apologize for it. I recommend avoiding the breakfast, you're better off eating somewhere else. Overall, for the price I can't complain too much but I'd recommend spending a little more for somewhere a bit nicer. If all you're looking for is a cheap place to sleep then this is the place for you !

::Would absolutely reccommend this hotel !! The food and bar we're phenomenal and such a surprise to discover Harold's famous restaurant was home of the pickle bar !!! Also the rooms were clean and equipped with everything you could ask for , fridge and microwave were top on my list. Only two complaints I have is one with the hotel because they wouldn't let us use the pool and we drove an extra couple hours just because they had a pool on site (something to do with inspections) but regardless , my kids were upset and 2) the roads are mostly connected to the turnpike and if u don't have cash on you , you basically get stuck in a round about of toll roads ... So I would advise - make sure you have cash at all times as well as a charged up cell phone or GPS if you're not familiar with the area. As far as the hotel , the outdated environment actually made it an interesting stay , reminded me of something filmed from american horror story...it was unique! As far as the room and food and drink are concerned , it was a plus !

::Good location near Jersey transit bus stop for easy commute to NYC terminal. A little outdated but clean. A good overall value.

::The rooms are really nice. Even though the hotel is right next to the highway it's quiet and you can't really hear the highway at all. The only thing that hugged me is that when we had the 'do not disturb' cars on our door when we left for the day, when we came back housecleaning had still come in anyway. So after that we kept all our important stuff in the car when we were going out.
