  They do a good job of keeping the place clean which is very important for me. Also staff is cordial ( though sometimes hard to understand what they say, hey but this is NYC! ) and very fast. I usually spend 1 hour for regular mani/pedi. I think their price is reasonable given the location

  I really appreciate that the place is very clean and the staff is friendly. However, I got a gel manicure and by the very next day, 2 of my nails were chipping. The polish on one of my nails (my thumb) came off completely. Needless to say, I think this is unacceptable and unfortunately, I will not be returning. There's no point in paying more for the gel if it lasts a shorter time than regular polish.

  One bargain in New York City compared to elsewhere is the relative affordability of beauty services. Unfortunately, QQ is a higher price point than many of the other nail salons I've been to in the city. They did a great job on my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I have chronic neck and back pain and they had a package where a 20 minute massage in addition to the services I already received was a $15 add-on, so I went for it. Rosa did a great job on my nails and massage. QQ is the least expensive on the block (there are two other nail salons across the street between 20th and 21st on 7th), but I'll probably try another spot next time just to get a better price. They do have "Happy Hour" pricing on a regular mani/pedi, but coming in at 7pm, I'd just missed that promo.

  Great price for a mani! Everyone is super friendly! Always that I go there I have a good experience, sometimes you have to wait 10/15 min but it’s ok!

  Seems like good service and I was excited about their hours but when I called I asked for pricing, which was perfect. I was clearly informed "TODAY, $30." When I showed up within 10 minutes I am told verbatim "can't let you in because I have no seat for you." Which is absolutely fine but was said on a somewhat rude attitude. I would have appreciated if she had said, "price is this, but there is no room today..." instead of telling me I should have made an appointment or walked over (clearly if I am calling asking for pricing and closing hours I don't have an appointment). Again, seems like a nice place but at least their reception/phone skills need to be better.
