  They won't answer the phone ever. Do your research to figure out what you need. Be prepared to have to leave and come back if you forget something

  Called the number and they left me on hold for an hour and 45 minutes. Ended up just calling another DMV and getting my question answered in 6. If you need to call them for any reason don't even bother.

  The rudest most mean people work there...down to their supervisor who I spoke to about the woman I spoke to prior being rude and unprofessional and the supervisors response was " do you have a point"?!?!?!? I will never go there again. This is the 3rd time I've dealt with rude, nasty attitudes and unprofessionalism. Never never NEVER again!!!

  That was awful. Two reps in a row were rude. It’s amazing how you can be made to feel like you are putting someone out after handing them $500. No place else on earth will you find a more delightful group of people. If possible, drive an extra 15 min for better service.

  Not your average bear! I don't always go to DMV, but when I do, I PREFER Carmel DMV because they have personable people who DO seem to give a damn. The ladies who assisted me with damaged plates were helpful to a fault and got me out of the office within 15 minutes on a moderately complex transaction. Hat tip!
