::This library is small and sometimes its hard to get a table. There is no WiFi and you can't use their WiFi unless you have a library card.

::I always go online & have the staff get the books and cd’s for me- for no charge. I just stop at the front desk & pick it up.

::Librarian in the children's department went above and beyond to help me find the books I was looking for. Very kind and patient. Kids area has chairs and puzzles my kids loved. Parking was simple and very near to the entrance.

::This is my favorite local library. I live in Bergen County and I always come to this library if I intend on working for a long time. They are MUCH larger than the library in my town. There is always seating when I've gone and they have extension cords under the tables in the computer room so you can easily charge your laptop and phone! There is enough parking except in the winter when there is lots of snow and ice on the ground. Went last winter and had to drive around for a few minutes for someone to leave. I gave it four stars bc the staff isn't the friendliest. But definitely one of the best libraries near me.

::Just had a very poor experience here yesterday, and am so disappointed. At 8:49 pm, the children's area librarian asked me to grab my things and bring them to the front desk, as the library was closing soon. At that moment, I gathered my 4 year old daughter's books into a pile, and started digging in my purse for my keys that had my library card attached. I found my keys at 8:51 pm, and just as I had picked up my pile of books and reached for my purse, the same librarian walked up to me and said "Excuse me, ladies......." My reply was "You can clearly see that I am grabbing my things and heading toward the desk." She replied that "they are closed, and they don't always close exactly at 9:00." Okay, well, the sign on the building says that they close at 9:00 pm. (I was outside of the doors at 8:57 pm, and would have been out even sooner, had she not felt the need to confront me a second time). I guess at being 9 months pregnant, I wasn't moving fast enough for her. As someone who has lived in Teaneck for 6 years, with my partner owning property here and paying taxes here for over 20 years, I am disgusted by the way I was treated yesterday. If I did not have children, I would no longer patronize this place, as I refuse to be treated like a nuisance, when I did not violate any of the library policies.
