  Heroin addicts invade the inside and outside of this poor library..After this library closes , heroin addicts turn the steps of this library into a heroin fixing station..

  Do not come to this library. Bums and drug addicts flood the place! It's dirty and smells awful. No one is actually doing any real research or work. People only come to charge their phones and play on computer.

  The library itself is nice and accomodating, but it is in one of the worst parts of Paterson. There are drug addicts and homeless people hanging out there. Its in the hood, there are "hoodrats" and gangsters all over that area and when I went I was scared I would get shot just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  It's huge and very accommodating to most needs.... Security is a bit over dramatic it's understandable because of location but they definitely make you feel uncomfortable even when using restroom ; I once had gotten sick to my stomach needless to give details, the security guard came into the ladies room without announcing HIMSELF (YES A MALE GUARD IN LADIES ROOM---NOT CUTE 😵) and rather than asking me If I am OK he's yelling at me rushing me out and insinuating I am doing drugs !

  The staff in the children's area are GREAT!!! They have lots of fun things for children to engage in and go above and beyond what their job descriptions entail. I have seen staff members help children with their homework and more!!! Great Great Great staff in the children's area!!!!
