  When I first moved in, there was waste from a homeless person that had to be cleaned out. Apparently, someone had been living in the unit and using a bucket to relieve themselves. The employee offered to upgrade my unit and let me move in to a different unit, so that was okay, if a little off-putting. About a year later, I received a phone call letting me know that they had cut the lock I put on the unit because I made a late payment. After reviewing their records, the employee realized I did not make a late payment and offered to put a new lock on for free. They would hold the key at the front. Again, mistakes were made but at least they were reasonable. When I wanted to move out, I called three times over the course of three weeks and left three voicemails. No response. When I returned to empty the unit, it turned out that the lock was never cut. So, there was no key. I had to pay a locksmith $45 to cut the lock and wast time waiting for him to arrive. It should not be this difficult to store a few items.

  We contacted this property online and Merlinda gave us a call immediately and left an informed voicemail, we set up a meeting to look at the storage and we spoke briefly about our needs, she was able to get us into a perfect size storage unit while also explaining the lease and payment details step by step.   The staff at Public Storage were very helpful John, Jessica and most of all the property manager Gina. Our move was complicated and chaotic from the start, but her friendly disposition, cooperation and seemingly endless patience and professionalism made it possible. So glad we made the right choice when we chose this facility to handle our storage needs. I would highly recommend this particular storage facility to anyone hoping for a pleasant experience when renting a storage unit(s) in the Sacramento area. I have dealt with Public Storage in the past at other locations, but the experience was not the same. Thanks again Gina, for all of your help!
