::It's a really cool venue and they have great programming. The location feels very open which is a little strange when you're watching a movie. Sitting on asphalt is not very comfortable so I suggest thicker blankets or a yoga mat to sit on.

::I've been here a couple of times for the well-curated outdoor screenings and for one live performance. The screen is bigger than in some screening rooms and the sound system is good. The beer garden is a sponsor, so you can feel good about bringing a beer into the movie. The walk-in theater is part of a two-block urban renewal with innovative cafe and ice-cream parlor designs housed in shipping containers.

::Space is transient and ever evolving. I love what Proxy (an architecture firm) in San Francisco has done to fill the space here in the Hayes Valley. Their wonderful commercial projects have provided so many inspiring small businesses a place to grow and flourish including BierGarden, Smitten Ice Cream, Ritual Coffee Roasters to name a few. These businesses have become such an important addition to the beautiful urban canvas that is San Francisco. I am excited and cannot wait to see what future projects Proxy has in store...
