::My family has been banking with Providence bank since it was first opened. We felt that the feeling of a small town bank was lacking with the other huge national, "I don't care who you are banks." But not at Providence. They know my birthday and my shoe size (lol). I will never bank anywhere else...my 5 year old granddaughter even banks with them and not just because she gets candy in the drive-thru.

::This is the most unprofessional, poorly ran bank I have ever experienced! I should have expected this when the bank remained empty all the time, even on Fridays but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Do to the fact that I live in the area, I chose to give this local bank a chance. During my experience, I dealt with two fraud transactions that were not protected by the bank, a dinosaur version of online banking and a bank CEO and President, Brad and his employees who could care less about providing good customer service to ALL of their clients. The second time the bank refused to submit my dispute claim and after expressing my dissatisfaction with the experience, the bank retaliated by involuntarily closing my accounts and mailing what was left in the accounts! When I sat down with the President and owner of the bank, it became clear that Brad shared a greater version of the poor, unprofessional attitude I'd experienced from his staff, as it is a continuation of the owner! As a customer, my issues did not in the least bit concern him. Instead of apologizing for how I felt and professionally explaining the situation to me, he responded by saying "What do you want us to do?" "Why should I have to pay for your fraud situation?" My initial reaction was "Im sorry, I thought that my money was protected from fraud or unauthorized transactions in a bank!" I guess his bank is too small and his priority is protecting his own profits. I have now switched to a more well known, professional bank and could not be happier! In the future I would reconsider giving a local bank like this any consideration.
