If you're not careful. And don't see the sign for "Star parking" and miss it on the menu to pay. This is what happens and they charged me $30 to remove the boots!

This parking lot worked well and saved a lot of money from having to use the Valet at the hotel Sheraton. I was under the impression that there was some covered parking from a previous review but that is not true. It is all open but I noticed several other cars that had been left over night and none had any type of damage. Really short walk to Canal and other main streets.

Easy to get to parking location. My full size truck fit in this lot.

They have very poorly marked "star spaces" which you have to pay a different rate for, using their machines, which do not indicate the different rates either and even hides it in the "other" section which makes me think that this whole setup is purposely misleading. We unknowingly paid the normal rate instead of the "star rate" and when we came back to our car later it had boots on it and we had to call the number listed on the paper stuck to our window, but before we called this weird homeless guy with fried chicken started trying to talk to us, presumably about the boots on our car, I think he was saying something about either us or the people running the lot being irresponsible, it was very hard to understand him and we just got in our car to try to ignore him and closed the doors on the side of the car he was on as he walked towards us, babbling incoherently as he waved grease covered fried chicken at us with his right hand while making various gestures with his other hand, but then he started to walk around to the other side, promoting my grandmother to quickly enter the car and closed the passenger side door behind her- BUT I HAD AN ELECTRONIC DOOR, I pressed the button to close it and pushed it closed for the last inch as this strange drink or drugged looking homeless guy tried to get to us before it closed, we had managed to escape danger if only by a thin margin but we were still trapped by the boots the parking lot security had put on our car, but since our car had a defense rating of 45 and homeless chicken man only had an attack rating of 12 he was unable to get past our defenses, frustrated at his loss he moved to the front of the car and started pushing a barrier against the car but we all know traffic barriers only offer a +3 attack rating while equipped, so when that inevitably didn't work, he threw his container of fried chicken into the air, causing it to rain down all over the parking lot as he hobbled slowly away from the scene while he gave us the finger. When we called the lot to deal with the boots and voiced our complaints about the unclear definition of "star spaces" and that we paid $15 for 9 hours of parking, however management was smart and didn't answer the phone themselves, instead making employees just read from scripts therefore taking the ability to get anything done away from the customer. While on the phone with the lot support, in response to our complaints about the boots being used the employee unsurely read a line that said something along the lines of "since the lot is gated off private property we have the right to disable or tow your vehicle" but there was no gates at all in this lot, the chicken man for instance was able to walk unobstructed from the lot to the sidewalk and any car could drive in through the main entrance and park. We paid the parking lot security agent when he arrived so we could get out of chicken man's territory but it took a suspenseful 20 minutes for him to arrive and then we got out of there ASAP. We made sure we got our car washed to get rid of any chicken scent so that chicken guy would not be able to track us by scent and drove in single file behind other cars so he wouldn't be able to trace our tracks, to this day we live in fear of chicken man, it was especially terrifying for my little sister and grandmother who are gluten intolerant and were in the car with us when he threw his fried chicken into the air, this fried chicken had gluten in it and that means if he had completely encased our car in fried chicken they would not be able to eat their way out 😨 We will be filing a complaint to this lot and try to see if they were breaking any regulations by seemingly hiding the "star spot" extra pricing and not clearly indicating the spots with anything other than small signs with missleading wording on them. Beware chicken man.

9 hours is too short for juror parking for some judges, and they're quick to put a boot on your car when space isn't an issue. Avoid if possible
