::Worst ride ever. Waiting in the cold for 2 hours and cable cars are coming so slowly with capacities for each cable car less than 10?? For a tourist attraction, I find no joy in the ride.

::I am not an everyday commuter of the cable car but I ride the train whenever I have someone coming to town for tour. This is a great tourist spot. Cable Cars of San Francisco is iconic and you should bring your friends/relatives here to show how the Cable cars are turned manually on the wooden disc. Ah it is always fun to watch. You should as well take a ride to the Powell & Mason starting from here through the China town. This is a very busy station and on weekends people will be queuing up take a ride. If you are gonna take a ride for fun, I would suggest to start from Powell/Mason stop because that one is hardly ever crowded. That will save you some time. A must visit if you are in San Francisco for a day tour.

::Way too busy. I use the Powell-Hyde line to get to my house but the staff don't let you choose what line you ride. Out of luck I almost always end up chosen for the Powell-Mason line.

::Leave it to the city of San Francisco to take such a historic means of transportation and ruin it with lazy inefficiency. Employees take more breaks than they work.
