  Nice dive-bar-but-not-really atmosphere, good drinks at a good price range. Food was tasty, provided by Meaux Bao by tiger. There was live music but we had to leave as we had a early conference to attend. Anyhow, seems like great place from my short experience, friendly and knowledgeable bartenders, good food, good environment.

  Visiting from out of town: the level of service here is unlike what you would experience in most places. The drinks are well crafted and delicious, true, but the friendly and accommodating service is what sets this place apart from most bars anywhere in the country. If you're anywhere near here, this is a friendly, casual bar who's attitude belies the quality of the cocktails... and I think that's the point. We'll be back!

  Great cocktails. Cool bartenders. Fresh herbs and fruits and juices. Interesting vibe and music. Only bar like it in New Orleans that I've found. Ask for Chickpea!

  We stayed near here on vacation and made our home at Portside. Jason and Edward were fantastic hosts. I felt like a regular the moment I walked in the door. Amazing hospitality, fantastic drinks and great music. We loved getting to know the regulars too, everyone here was very kind and welcoming. I will go out of my way to visit the Portside Lounge every time I am in New Orleans, you guys are the best!
