::Looks like a pretty standard smallish office building. I'm not sure the purpose of the green tile at street level. It doesn't enhance the rest of the facade. And frankly, it looks like it's been some time since the face has been maintained. There's no graffiti. Like an overdesigned bathroom. As it is, it's not an eyesore. There's a sculpture reminiscent of radio city musical. This being a iron lady with a trident instead. As is, I'm older than the building, and though others talk about its significance as a landmark; I fail to see how a mere municipal building in simplistic post-modernist style could be particularly landmark-ish. Personally, I much prefer the style of the courthouse across the street. What is obviously the best details here are the sculpture and the wonderful design of the nearby park.

::What can I say? I think the Portland Building is beautiful and should not be replaced.
