  Food great. Staff amazing. Great location. I have eaten at Poquito Mas for 3 years and found out they’re now in Buena Park! So exciting and of course delicious. Best cooks and servers. Love you guys. I had to meet the people who make the magic: Piche has skills in the kitchen. And Phily and Marcia made my night special. ;)

  I very rarely give 5 stars, but I had an amazing experience here! It was quiet literally, the fastest I have ever seen food come out - of all time! And don't think that for one second that compromised the quality - the food had excellent flavor! I will be returning very soon.

  Horchata was pretty good. Prices are great but you do get what you pay for. Tilapia was DELICIOUS... after you add salsa, salt and cream sauce! Rice was burnt. Beans Taste like they are out of a can.

  I heard great things about this place from my parents and was looking forward to some great food, boy was I disappointed. We ordered the shrimp tacos that they had told me were so delicious and I was really looking forward to it. The help was very friendly, they have nice patio seating, the place was very clean and nicely decorated with a fresh salsa bar...so far so good! Then the food came and things went all kinds of wrong. I dug into my shrimp taco and was prepared for greatness, sadly when I tasted them I was completely underwhelmed. They had no flavor, and I mean ZERO flavor. I couldn't see any seasoning on the shrimp which isn't good, shrimp needs seasoning. The rice and beans weren't any better and were mediocre at best. Look at the pictures and you can see how plain everything looks. Even my dad commented on how flavorless the food was compared to his previous visits - which he described to me as "wonderful ". They normally eat there during the week when a nice gentleman (owner?) is working up front. It seems the dining experience is completely different when he's not there. If it were up to me I'd probably never go back but if I do it will be during the week because this food really sucked. Moral of the story, don't come here Saturday for lunch, go during the week.

  It's a small place with little seating indoors but plenty of outside seating with gas heating all around. There are kids meals and a decent selection of foods to choose from. I had the protein salad with a spicy shrimp. For a somewhat basic salad I really enjoyed it, great flavor and plenty of veggies (not just lettuce). My kids loved the quesadillas and chicken taco. All the adults in our group enjoyed their food. My husband ordered chicken enchiladas even though it is not on their menu. The manager is very nice and helpful. He is the one that said they would make the enchiladas even though it isn't written on the menu. Great place, we would eat here again!
