::Went here 3 times and each time they don't do what I ask them to do, regardless of which groomer is doing it. My dog's hair was cut choppy and an inch shorter than I wanted. When I complained, they said it's what I asked for. 2 stars because they're otherwise nice.

::I had a decent experience at this location, they cut the dog’s hair in a reasonable amount of time and the price fell in line with what most places charge. However, they didn’t cut the dog’s nails and he seemed pretty shaken after the haircut. He was trembling most of the time we touched him after the cut, could be from mistreatment, but this is speculation, as I can confirm he was mistreated here.

::Let me start by saying I've never wrote a bad review on Google, Yelp, or Facebook. I do work for a marketing company and WILL be writing the negative review this place deserves, on every social platform. If I could give Popcorn Pawz no stars, I would. 1 star is highly generous. I've been a customer of Popcorn Pawz since they opened on Riverdale Avenue. Now, you couldn't pay me to go back. Their customer service is beyond horrible and the attitude the front desk girl gave me today was disgraceful. If the managers don't want to keep losing their customers they should consider the employees they hire to work at their Riverdale location. I was warned by quite a few people in my neighborhood not to go to Popcorn Pawz. Hearing the horror stories, I stopped bringing my dogs there a year ago and started grooming them myself. Today I decided to give them a chance, as I hadn't had time groom them do to work. I wish I had waited. My husband dropped my dog off at the Popcorn Pawz at 11:30 and was told by the groomer that it would take between 2-4 hours. 4 hours later at 3:35 I called them to ask if my dog was done. The lady said he was done and then retracted the statement and said he would be done in 20 minutes or so. I knew from previous experience that they call when your dog is ready to be picked up. Still, I left my house at 4pm. On my way over at 4:05 Popcorn Pawz calls me to tell me my dog was ready. I walk in the store at 4:10 and the lady told me with an attitude that I had to pay a late fee. I thought I was misunderstanding her. I mean how can you get a late fee when you show up at the store 5 mins after they call? She continued by telling me she called me twice. Not knowing if she was confusing me with someone else, I showed her my recent call list on my phone. I explained to her that I was the one who called to find out if my dog was ready, was told he wouldn’t be ready for at least 20 minutes and just received a call at 4:05. She continued to want to argue with me, so I handed her the $10 late fee and told her they just lost a customer. That must have upset her more because she continued to want to argue with me saying "she" told my husband it would be 2 hours. I told her the groomer told my husband 2 to 4 hours. She then said, no we said 2-3 hours. She continued by telling me my dog was done since 12:30 and had been waiting a while for me. Confused about the ever changing story, I asked to speak with a manger. I didn't care about the $10, but I did care about the inconsistency of the story and the attitude I was receiving. I was told the manager wouldn't be in until Monday, so I asked for his/her name but she said "she isn't obligated to give me the managers name." I asked for her name and she told me the same thing. I did get to speak with the grooming manager, whom wasn’t any better than the cashier. She told me the only reason the cashier had a bad attitude with me was because I had an attitude regarding the situation. At this point I thought I was on one of those prank shows. I’m pretty sure I was a victim of fraud. I don’t know how many people they do this to, but it’s certainly a good way to make extra money. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Clearly what I was told regarding Popcorn Pawz was true. I hope the managers look at their store video to see how poorly their customers are treated. It’s very obvious why their employees don’t wear name tags and don’t give out their name!

::Awful experience. 1 star is extremely generous for the lack of professionalism. My poor little shih tzu was cut around her eyes, her eyes are red, irritated and sad. Her fur was pulled and her skin has red blotches. She seems anxious an in pain when touched. She left this place shaking and terrified. They kept her in a cage for several hours past her scheduled appointment time and we will never go back to Pop Corn Paws again. We went to pick her up 3 times before she was finally ready. If you care for your dog you should never go here!!!
