::Very nice place and lots of parking available. We went on memorial day weekend and still found parking easily. Nonetheless the kids park was moderately crowded. There were lots of tree shades and grills available and water right next.

::Very nice and quiet open space. Huge flags and a very tall statue dominate the park by the river. It's conected with the Liberty State Park by a bridge and you can get good shots of downtown Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and the Verazzano Bridge. There's a picnic area with a playground for kids.
