  This historic church is a must see on any trip to Brooklyn Heights. The statue of Beecher is on Orange street. Take some time and research his interesting life. Also, if you can get inside, there is a seat in the church with a plaque - Abraham Lincoln attended services here. As far as I know, he was the only sitting President to visit Brooklyn.

  A beautiful and historic Brooklyn Heights landmark. Abraham Lincoln gave a key speech on these hallowed grounds. And it was pivotal for the Underground Railroad. Ensconced in the "fruit streets".
