  100% cesspool. Do not walk in here. Walked in to fix a watch and the guy would not open the door to let me out. I decided I did not want to have my watch fixed here. He tried to buy it from and started asking me way below what it is worth. The inside smelled like alcohol and the sailor looking bum was yelling obscenities towards the Jewish owner. And calling him cheap. What a trash can of a place. I wanted to get the heck out of there quick but they would not open the door. How do these people stay in business? There should be an investigation. Director Guild should kick them out.

  Lost an item that was sent for repair, tried to insist that I had already collected it, The man truly has no concept of the truth as he will lie to your face or simply leave you standing in the store and ignore you. Please do not go near this place unless masochism is your thing Sadly I cannot give a zero star rating

  WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! DO NOT TRUST MR LEE WITH A SINGLE NICKLE!! Brought in my watch to see if they could repair it. They said they could and told me they would keep it below $100. After a month I began calling about it. After two months i started calling nearly every week. It was the same old story 'we are waiting for the parts, we just need to check to see if it works, etc.' Finally, after FOUR MONTHS of waiting and weekly calls they said it was ready. For the low price of $300. After complaining they brought it down to $250. My watch is STILL BROKEN!! I don't think they ever looked at it or replaced anything. Shady, greedy, lazy, and lying people work here. I would send it back in to have them repair it like they said they would, but I think they would just keep the watch. Several times they could not find my item, even with the ticket number. If they say they will call you back don't count on it.

  Beware! Bogus appraisal and useless guarantee! I purchased a watch based on the merchant's statements because I thought this was a reputable establishment. That evening I discovered that the statements the merchant made about the value of the watch and other aspects of the watch were false. I called that day to complain and returned the watch the next day the store was open. I first thought that the merchant made a mistake and that the matter would be cleared up when I returned the watch, however, the merchant now has the watch and is also refusing to provide a refund. This was misrepresentation and fraud. I will contact the Better Business Bureau and other consumer sites.

  This store is just a front for these guys to legally rip you off. First of all they were very rude and extremely shady.I wanted to sell some silver and some gold. First of all I was told the wrong price of what silver and gold were going for today. The guy just gave me a number of what he wanted to pay. I asked him if he could weigh it and I was told that he would have to remove the stones and that it would be a $25 charge to remove the stones and to weigh it. As I was asking questions the guy was filling out the paperwork and kept pushing me to sign it. I felt like I was being ripped off so I told him I'm not selling. He only offered me $85 and I asked him to go $90 and he gave me a hard time about it. He kept trying to push me to sign the papers and at that point I knew I was being robbed. I told him I'm not signing and I would like to have my stuff back and leave. I walk to the Diamond District in New York City and found a legit buyer and he put it on the scale for me and told me that he would give me $150 for the stuff that I had. Needless to say that these guys are a bunch of crooks and like to take advantage of everyone. Do not go to this store and try to do business unless you like being ripped off and raped. Gold buyers of Plaza 57 need to be shutdown. Please nobody go here you will be extremely sorry. Worst experience in a store I've ever had.
