::Atmosphere: Pizza parlor dining room with some TVs playing Internet channels (Fail Army) or local broadcasting stations (local news) as staff work behind the ordering counter Cost: My Smoked Turkey "Deluxe" Hoagie used to cost $10.99 pre-tax (looking at my menu from yesteryear), but with fries I recall paying closer to $16+ this time around Service: The girl at the counter was nice, friendly, and even apologetic when I incorrectly insisted my deluxe hoagie got swapped with someone's basic (though that shockingly wasn't the case) Experience: I came here because I recalled having a delicious smoked turkey deluxe hoagie (I remember multiple layers of shredded, smoked turkey), but I ended up getting something that looked like a basic hoagie with less meat on it than an elementary school kid's Lunchables snack (exactly three thin slices of non-smoked turkey on each half). There were about 4-5 shriveled pepper rings on each half and I realized I could have had a better experience buying a custom-ordered sandwich from the nearby Giant Eagle for half the price, or even from the almost-mediocre Subway next door. Probably the only saving grace was the gratuitous amount of fries I received, but the sandwich killed my mood too much to really enjoy them (they were alright, though). I wanted to write a review praising their smoked turkey deluxe sandwich as the best thing they offer, but apparently I've either confused my memories with another place or the Pizza Palermo I've been to no longer exists. And it certainly doesn't help that the store's prices have inflated over the past couple years.

::Rude and disrespectful employees and mediocre food on multiple occasions have made this place not worth returning to. Not recommended.

::The drivers are racist. I've had 4 different occasions where the driver was afraid to get out of the car to give me or my boyfriend our food because we are black. This last time the guy wouldn't meet us at our door and when we came to get the food from him he was terrified because he seen we were black. He tried to drive off with the food! My bf stopped him then the driver threw the receipt and pen at him and drove off. I would not recommend them at all. They will never get my money again

::Ordered large pepperoni pizza and wings. When I got home I noticed that there was no pepperoni. Wasn't too happy about but after calling the pizza. They said that they wouldn't deliver correct order since I live 20 min away. Manager Ali said that he can offer me double pepperoni next time. Lol what a joke. There will be no next time. Pizza was meh, wings were dry. But even worse that Customer service was bad. ;) Save yourself some time and buy your pizza from Slice on Broadway. Management need to take responsibility on wrong orders.

::Order pizza for lunch, they'll deliver it in time for dinner. The pizza tastes good but this is Pittsburgh in 2018. There's absolutely no need to still suffer these idiots when there are dozens of new, upcoming pizza places itching to make a mark. Skip Palermo and order somewhere else. You might get to actually eat within 2 hours of placing the order.
