  Such a great time! Santa is always amazing, the gingerbreadhouses are so cool and the santas from around the world. Free carriage rides and adorable shops.

  This is a seasonal marketplace in Market Square downtown. It will be open through December 23 in 2017. If Pittsburgh wants a European - style Christmas market, they might want to visit Europe. What exists here is a terrible copy; it literally makes me sad. The organizers should be sent somewhere expensive and joyless, somewhere like this market.

  Cute idea however prices are high, most items are not handmade. Heaven help you if you have to go to the bathroom. As in most busy areas such as The Strip, there are bike Lanes but no porta johns. If you want to use one in a nearby restaurant forget it you must buy something to get a code which changes through out the day. As usual in Pittsburgh, parking is painful also although we were lucky to get a meter at $4/hour. Will not be going back.
