  Haven't been to Piquant since they changed their name from Little Piquant, so lots of changes have occurred. The reason for only 2 stars: I selected a chocolate croissant, which looked good in the display. Upon biting into it, I got a mouth full of dry croissant. I opened it up to find about 9 unmelted chocolate chips inside. VERY disappointing. But, I doctored it up and made it edible by adding cherry jam I had in the 'fridge. Disappointed; was hoping for better. :-/

  Exceptional customer service! My iced caramel machiatto was the best I've ever had. And they baked fresh choc chip cookies for me because they were all out (about to close for the day) and I showed up hoping to try a cookie while in town on business. They baked a whole batch for me and they were DELICIOUS. Gooey, warm, soft. It's a day later and the cookies are still delicious. I just had another one which reminded me to write this review.

  Cute little place. Nice music, atmosphere. Service was very attentive and kind. The food I had was ok. Smoked chicken salad was a bit too salty for me. The next day I came back for breakfast. The croque madam was delicious and my kids loved the chocolate croissants. Special little place!
