  Love Pioneer Pet! David, the owner, is so friendly and helpful, very attentive to customers' needs. They have an expanding exotic animal selection and always carry local as well as high quality, trusted brands. I love supporting this small, local business because it is clear this is a labor of love. Thanks for being so great, David & team!

  My corgi Corbin and I love Pioneer Pet! David is so personable, and Vito and Ivar are fun to visit. Their selection is great--food, treats, toys, and even pet "clothing". And if they don't have it, David is really great about special ordering supplies for you and your pet.

  I'm a huge fan of this gem in Pioneer Square. It's the most unique shop I've ever been to! I love being able to get my dog Henry a sampling of treats from the treat bar, raw meaty bones from the freezer, tasty packaged treats from small businesses, or super cute, durable toys. There's an amazing level of variety without it being too overwhelming. David is so knowledgeable and friendly - his hospitality makes you want to come back. I'm a huge supporter of small businesses and I'm happy to support this one.

  A great shop in pioneer square. David the owner is very friendly and helpful, and the store carries a wide selection of fun toys as well as the necessities like food and litter. I love to visit with the two shop cats, who are always very friendly. I go for cat stuff, but they have lots of things for dogs and a smaller section with a good selection for small animals like guinea pigs etc.

  Hands down, my new favorite pet store. Immediately upon walking in my dog and I were greeted by two very friendly loving kitties and a welcoming owner. The store has a fantastic 'bar' of single dog treats of the highest quality. The owner was extremely helpful and took time to meet my dog and suggest various treats (we went in to find things that she could chew on for long periods of time). He is highly passionate and knowledgeable about his products and a true animal lover. The store is also decorated in a very eclectic, fun manner which adds some great ambiance while shopping!
