  There are many misconceptions about Pilates, and if it hadn't been for the initial evaluation and 3 private class introduction with Marilyn Miller at Pilates on Hudson , I would not have known how it could alleviate pain after certain dormant muscle groups became engaged and able to do their job once again. Pilates on Hudson has a wonderful team of tremendously talented people headed by the owner, Marilyn Miller, who have provided an atmosphere of wellness, fun and camaraderie as well as providing a physical education regarding the what & why of the Pilates effect on our bodies. In 2014, I walked into Pilates on Hudson with severe hip and lower back pain. I am happy to say the pain is gone and replaced by muscle groups that can do their job with my continuing practice of Pilates. I highly recommend this Pilates studio as a place to maintain your good health or regain your strength and flexibility.
