  Customer service is terrible. On hold for 30 minutes just to find out why they haven't closed out my charge hold from a month ago to my bank account. The girl who answered after the first 11 minutes was so rude I had to ask for a manager and that apparently earned me more hold time. I guess once you're not a guest anymore, then your concerns don't matter. I strongly urge you to find anywhere else to stay but here. If you have stayed here in the past, know that their customer service has gone down hill. We stayed 5 days and were disappointed every day with every aspect. The food is not as good, the pool service was terrible, our food was raw, the room was not great...etc. There are better places with nicer people in AZ. In the time I have been on hold, I've been able to write two reviews. Fabulous job Marriott!

  The location is great for a view of the city and surrounding. Wait staff was friendly and professional. The parking is well below the restaurant and it's quite a hike, so plan on using the valet for the best experience. Average is around $60-80/person and the food matches that. Halibut was great and the steak melts in your mouth. Great dinner, date, and celebration spot.

  Very nice facility. Really cool how it's built into the rock formations. Clean and modern decor. Service was good. Did not have any food during my stay so I cannot comment on that. Had a king bed in my room and it was nice as well. Bathroom was up to date. I did not swim, but the pool looked nice and well kept.

  Had reservations for dinner at The Top of The Rock 5star restaurant. The experience was awesome! Our waiter was exceptional. The food was terrific. And the view was extraordinary. The night skyline and lights of Phoenix is almost breathtaking. If you are in the Phoenix area and have the time, recommend you make an evening of it at "The Top of The Rock!"

  It is a nice place with a resort feel tucked is the hills of Tempe just off the the 10 fwy. Pool areas (there are two) and multiple spas with steps that lead to them from the pool areas. The restaurant is placed well with nice views, the food is good with plenty of selections and the service is good also. Why this property does not get the fifth star is due to the aged look of the rooms. It is in need of a face lift, at least to keep up with it's own appearance of a quality resort. The rooms were very well taken care of. The beds are on the new side, but the rest of the decor needs a face lift. (At least the room I was in). Lastly, there are plenty of things to do on the property. A good hike is right out the door, there are two sand volleyball courts, the fitness center is above average and there is a spa to be pampered also. I did not use the spa.
