  Finding a new bike shop after relocating to Tulsa came easy for me as the first place I went to happened to be Phat Tire. I was sold on that initial experience. Since then I have run the gamut from bike purchase - repair. Example: I purchased a bike for my 6 yr old and when I brought him over to pick it up they created a one of a kind experience that made it more memorable. That is greatly appreciated.

  Had a concern about my brakes. The guy put the bike on the stand, spun the pedals, told me my brakes were fine, charged me 15 bucks even, kinda sketch. Didn't even take him 90 seconds. I felt robbed.

  I am a daily bicycle commuter. You might see me going up and down Detroit/Cincinnati in any weather condition. My poor Surley really takes a beating. To this end, ever since I moved (~2 years ago) Phat Tire has been my go-to for any bike related upkeep/repair/replacement. I like that they are physically downtown - I can sneak away from work quite conveniently. Staff is very approachable, quite knowledgeable, and my bike always looks great after a cleaning and tuneup.
