  I love this place. The pet holding cages are always clean and for the most part all staff is well trained

  Disappointed yet again. Even though I've had terrible experiences with PetSmart in the past, I thought a simple nail grinding wouldn't be any trouble, and I'd try them again since I have not been to this particular location. To start, the groomers were rude. Secondly, their policy makes no logical sense. They wouldn't take the rabies certificate from the email sent from the vet, nor would they take the rabies tag because they said it could be from any dog. With that logic, papers could be from any dog as well. The tag & certificate has the same rabies number, as well as my dog's name on them. They wanted me to go home and print a certificate and come back with that. Instead, I went across the street to Petco and they gladly accepted verification of the certificate directly from my phone, and they were friendly.

  Dont buy the puppy coupon book they have there! Most the coupons they have in it are only good every where but Alaska! They dont tell you that when you buy it untell after you wast your money and then try to use the coupons!

  I like this location of PetSmart. First of all, it's always clean, which is a nice quality in a store that allows you to bring your pet into the place! Second of all, the shelves are always neatly and fully stocked. I own 3 Yorkshire Terriers and it's really nice to be able to find Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier food in a state like Alaska, where most people favor big dogs. My only suggestion is that they stock more dog harnesses in the Extra Small size that are not just the thin little strap kind. The ones that have a fabric 'chest plate' are much safer for small dogs and they rarely have much of a selection of those!
