::It was okay. Not really a cat place. The food options are not the best if you're trying to feed your furbaby high quality food. There are better options out there, besides what's offered. The dog bath section seemed to be the place to be on a Sunday.

::Very well stocked place, but don't expect most people there to know where anything is. They'll just send you to Krystal. Krystal is the only one who knows her stuff, and what she doesn't know, she Googles and figures out right then and there. In short, Krystal is great. Just ask for her, and you'll be fine. The rudeness of everybody else there is stunning. The customer service is nonexistent. Except for Krystal. Admittedly, I haven't been there on -every- day of the week, so I don't know who else works there who may be more polite and knowledgeable than everybody I tried to get some sense of on the day I was there, but it's probably not good business to hire untrained people who are rude to customers and expect the customers to come back another day. Nevertheless, the stock is good, the prices are reasonable, and be sure to look for Krystal. This is her, in the photo.
Bitter Mood
::My name is Lynn Harris ,I have been in that store a few times when im in the area as i live un another state but frequent for business. the young staff for most part are super nice i have notice the person i believe to be management on couple of visits can be very rude and not very nice to her staff in speakin with them .. when im in the area i usually stay at comfort in and in the early mornings i like to get my walks in before work 1 morning from the parking lot i was walking by and saw this women throw something at on of the young girls at first i didnt think anything about it till i saw the young girl outside and appeared upset.. i was kind of shocked at what i saw but i had to get ready for a meeting but was concerned for the girl.. there was another time i was in store and heard her speakin to a staff member and i just had to leave i am shocked as a company that this is acceptable behavior and your company would allow such a person to run a store... i still shop at petvalu when i can and if there in the areas im at for business.. i hope corporate office does something to rectify this behavior... please open a store in new york city as i do alot of business there as well ..

::Fyi— Petvalu never follows up, its a generic message they add to negative reviews/ to give you the audience the impression that they care— they don’t! Original Review;; We were just at a PetValu which we’ve been here in the past, and my primary pet v in bristol, this location (edgewater, nj) was the most horrific location I’ve ever been to, the staff is so unergetic and miserable, not sure if it was because my Fiance and I are hispanic and we are being stereotyped by your staff, but we went to wash our husky , there was no place to attach him to keep him in place, we asked the staff theyre response was Oh well they break, there was no caring, they essentially acted in a way because they wanted us to leave , what a disgrace both of the women here that were working at 11am 7/9/2017 should be trained to learn how to provide great service to people of all races/creeds , and the manager should be trained how to submit work orders so that things get fixed.
