  Super happy i found this place!!! The staff was so warm and friendly. You wash your own pet for $10.00 and everything is included (towels, soap, huge commercial hairdryer). They just made my life easier. I was so happy that I bought a bunch of treats. 😁. I highly recommend this place.

  Poor customer service at this location. There was one person working on Saturday after thanksgiving at 11am. I waited on line for help and when I got the register and asked for help I was asked to wait until she rang up the people behind me. I was traveling for the holidays with my dogs and wanted to bath them after a hike with flea and tick shampoo. They asked me if the dogs had fleas and I said I think they were exposed and I wanted to be sure. I was refused service and asked to leave. Any dog can can have fleas or be exposed to fleas and if an establishment allows dogs on premise that’s a risk they take. I asked the woman to look at my dog who is all white and check and end refused and asked me to leave. It turns out my dogs were fine thanks to the preventative, but it would have been nice to have the self assurance and work with more empathetic associates. This store left a bad impression for me with all Pet Valu locations.

  I love this store! Awesome staff who offered to put aside a case of cat food every month so it would be ready when I came in. I am convinced their own cat food, Performatrin Ultra, extended my cat's life. Mosey crossed the rainbow bridge December 5, 2015, two months shy of her 21st birthday. She had chronic renal failure the last 3 1/2 years of her life but ultimately lost a battle with cancer. When she was first diagnosed with renal failure, she experienced regular bouts of vomiting. After giving her Pet Valu's own brand of cat food, her vomiting stopped and her appetite improved! I was so happy. Their food is clearly a quality product. It is the only cat food I've ever experienced as smelling appetizing! It really made a difference in my cat's quality of life. Highly recommended.
