::I find the place to be quite sad. Must be the lighting. Food is ok, not the best Thai I had, but at least I never woke up at 3 AM regretting dinner. Been there quite a few times with colleagues. Personally, I prefer the Tibetan place next door.

::Order scallion pancakes and pad thai. Eat until uncomfortably full. You won't be disappointed!

::Pros: Spicy Pad Thai with chicken is filling and good. Panang curry is great. They do a good job of cooking vegetables to the perfect consistency - the eggplant is still a bit firm and squeaky. Green beans have a touch of crunch. The sticky rice is a texture adventure. The Tom Yum soup is hit or miss, but when it hits, it is soul filling. They are great at managing large take-out orders. Cons: This is Americanized Thai food, so don't expect a flavor explosion. There's a hint of fish sauce in everything, and the spicy dishes have some heat, but the dishes are geared towards Boston palates. They do use sufficient salt and umami boosters, so despite the lack of bird's eye peppers and kaffir leaves, I keep coming back for more.

::Really wonderful approach to Thai! Great soups, great fish balls, great duck, great noodles, great curries. Friendly staff with prompt service with a joke and a smile. Small, simple space, but comfortable, mellow atmosphere.
